All new employees undergo a training course. This training process has to be completed by all staff employed by Litch Care Services Ltd (including office staff) before their first shift.
We are looking for people with new challenges if you are trained nurses in General nursing, mental health nursing and Learning Disability nursing and Support workers.

- Food & Hygiene.

- Handling Client and Patient Information
- Risk Incident Reporting
- Complaints Handling
- Safeguarding Vulnerable Children (level 1 & 2)
- Manual Handling Operations Regulations
- Practical Manual Handling
- Protection of Vulnerable Adults
- Unsafe Practices
- Principles of Hoist Training
- Adult Basic Life Support (HSE recognised)
- Basic Food Hygiene
- Complaints Handing & Conflict Management
- Abuse Awareness – POVA & POCA
The above course is refreshed annually and we provide and conduct further courses relevant to the needs of our clients and to further the education and experience of our carers.
We ensure all our staff have appropriate qualifications. That includes:
Enhanced Disclosure Barring Services (DBS) Check
Employment Eligibility and work history check
2Referencees (one from recently employer)
NMC Pin Number Check
Week runs from Monday throughout to the following Sunday allowing all staff to include Sunday night shift to be paid. In Order to meet this time sheets has to be in receipt of your time sheet by 11AM each Monday morning.
